During our visit of the NATO base, we had the privilege of touring one of the launch cites as well as an  operational control room. Unfortunately, photos inside the control room were prohibited but here is an overview of the outside of the building where we got to take in not only the beautiful view but come to understand the strategic importance of Crete firsthand.
